Avalerion means king of the birds.
Avalerion is a large bird sculpture made from wire and reclaimed fabrics, which have been plant and rust dyed, and is stuffed with waste wool. His name is sewn onto his belly in gold thread and he is adorned with a necklace of bells.
He hangs from a metal loop attached at the back - unlike a lot of the creatures, Avalerion is unable to stand.
